S/S17 - the must-haves for this season #trends

die fashion week ist vorbei und hat uns jede menge neue inspirationen gegeben. für die neuesten trends ist sie natürlich die erste anlaufstelle - nicht ohne grund zeigen dort auch alle namhaften labels ihre neuen kollektionen.

ohne umschweife werden diese neuesten kreationen in vielen magazinen gezeigt, beworben und kombiniert. in collagen, werbeseiten oder trend issues - natürlich ein augenschmaus für jeden leser. ich bin einer dieser leser und blättere unglaublich gerne in modemagazinen wie harper’s bazaar, elle oder vogue, die mir immer wieder neue inspirationen für meine ootds geben. doch so sehr ich diese zeitschriften auch liebe, stelle ich jedes mal wieder fest, dass all diese trendseiten wirklich immer nur outfit- und kombinationsvorschläge der high-end marken zeigen. ich verstehe schon, natürlich sind sie spektakulärer und meistens geht es ja auch nur um prestige, jedoch kann sich doch niemand als otto-normal-verbraucher diese kleidungsstücke leisten!

wenn ich dann eine idee habe, finde ich es immer sehr mühselig und anstrengend passende, preisgünstigere kleidung in den läden zu finden, in denen wir sonst einkaufen, die auf meine vorstellung zutrifft.

deshalb habe ich heute einige trends zusammengetragen und passende outfits kombiniert, die garantiert erschwinglich sind und noch dazu echt reif für die trendsaison 2017 sind.

fashion week is over and left us blinded by so much inspiration. of course it is the first place to look when you’re catching up with the latest trends - all the famous brands show their collections there with good reason.

without hesitation those newest styles are featured, advertised or combinated in lots of magazines. collages, ads or trend issues - that’s of course an eye candy for every reader. i am one of those readers and i love to browse through fashion magazines like harper’s bazaar, elle or vogue. so much inspiration for new ootds! but as much as i love those magazines, i always find myself wondering, who would actually buy the pieces off-the-shelf. i mean, i get that featuring high-end fashion brands is more spectacular to look at. and i guess it’s lots and lots about gaining prestige. but let’s be honest, nobody can afford these kind of clothings!

when i have an idea it’s always very awkward and cumbersome to find similar and less pricy pieces in the store where you would normally buy your clothes.

that’s why i decided to gather all the new trends and combinate them to some outfits which are affordable, guaranteed.

back to the 80s - ruffles & metallics

ganz klar im fokus diesen frühling stehen die 80er. dieser trend ist schon eine weile erkennbar und hält sich wacker auf den beinen. ganz zu meiner freude, muss ich gestehen. ich liebe metallic, denn es bietet unglaublich viele kombinationsmöglichkeiten. ob nun knallig oder eher gedeckt, völlig egal. durch den eigenen look ist es völlig in ordnung zweimal uni-colour zu tragen; einfach etwas aufpeppen mit großen rüschen und einem girly-liken pinken mantel.

without a doubt the 80s are back in the spotlight. this trend has been around for quite some time now. and i am rather happy about it because i love metallics! there are so many ways to mix pieces together. it doesn’t matter if it’s flashy or muted. because of its distinctive look it’s totally okay to wear uni-colours on top and bottom; just spice it up with big ruffles and these girly pink coats.

colours are back - the one and only

lange jumsuits, gerade diese versionen von einem blaumann abgeleitet, sind der hingucker diesen frühling. ob nun mit tieferer oder natürlichen taille - die farbe wirkt mit allen schnitten. dazu eine jacke mit blümchenmuster, fertig ist das perfekte outfit für das frühjahr.

jumpsuits or playsuits, especially those versions derived from boiler suits, are the must-haves this season. either low waist or natural - the striking colour does all the work and it actually works with all patterns and styles. mix it up with a flower-patterned jacket and you are ready for spring with the perfect outfit.

colour of the season: greenery

die farbe des frühlings ist greenery; pantone 15-0343. ein gelbliches grün, eine sehr gewagte farbe, wie ich finde. für dieses outfit habe ich eine etwas abgeschwächtere version von greenery verwendet: ocker oder senfgelb.

hemden und blusen sind in, das steht außer frage. doch dieses jahr werden die tops aufgepeppt mit großen 80er-liken rüschen und volants. dazu eine schicke culotte mit knoten-detail in der taille - fertig.

the colour of spring 2017 is greenery, pantone 15-0343. a kind of yellowy green, which is in my opinion very daring. for this outfit i used a somewhat toned down version of it. more of a mustard yellow or ochre.

shirts and blouses are en vogue, no doubt. but this year the tops are spiced up with gigantic 80s-like ruffles and volants. wear it together with a chic culotte with a knot detail and you’re ready to go!

vichy, checks and striking colours

muster sind ganz klar der größte trend momentan. am angesagtesten: vichy-karos, streifen und blumen. bei solch einer vielfalt darf man sich auch nicht zurücknehmen und ruhig mal zwei muster kombinieren, funktioniert wunderbar. zu diesem lässigen sommer-look noch ein schwarzer rucksack und eine bomber-jacke - ja, auch die wird man weiterhin sehen - und schon kann die strandsaison beginnen!

patterns are with no doubt the biggest trend of 2017. in the spotlight: vichy, checks, stripes and flower-prints. such a variety mustn’t frighten or restrict you - if anything it guides you towards the perfect pattern combination. which you are more than allowed to this year.

just add a black backpack and a bomber jacket - yes they are still around and will be for quite some time - to this casual summer-look and the beach season can begin!
