the anti-valentine ♡ #outfit

dieses jahr habe ich den valentinstag nicht zum anlass genommen, einen blogpost zu verfassen. sei es nun auf mein single-dasein zurückzuführen oder einfach auf meine grundeinstellung, dass man seinen lieben nicht nur an einem tag im jahr etwas nettes bereiten sollte - eines von beiden wird es wohl sein. dennoch hoffe ich, dass ihr einen schönen tag mit eurem lieben/eurer lieben hattet, falls ihr gefeiert habt.

das heutige outfit steht vielleicht ein bisschen im kontrast zu den süßen, lieblichen outfitvorschlägen, die man sonst so um die zeit auf diversen blogs entdecken kann, aber wie gesagt: heute bezieht sich ja nur indirekt auf den tag der liebenden.

this year i didn’t take valentine’s day as a reason to upload a blogpost. whether it is because of my single life or because i simply think that you shouldn’t show your loved ones just on this occasion that you care for them - let it be any of the two. but i still hope you had a wonderful day with your beloved if you celebrated it.

today’s outfit may be some kind of a contrast to all the lovely, sweet outfit suggestions you can discover on multiple blogs at this time of the year, but as i said: today is only indirectly about valentine’s day.

es wird frühling, wie man sieht, wenn man nach draußen schaut. der schnee verschwindet und bringt das grün der wiesen zurück ans tageslicht. die ersten knopsen sprießen und geben die anzeichen auf wärmere temperaturen. hoffen wir mal, dass uns nicht noch eine kältewelle überrollt ;)

im zeichen des frühlingsanfangs und des „anti-valentinstages“, wenn ich das so nennen kann, habe ich mich für eine blumige, farbenfrohe kombination entschieden, die den gewissen punkigen touch besitzt. anti, eben. oder zumindest im übertragenen sinne.

spring has finally sprung if you look outside. the snow fades away and leaves behind the beautiful green meadows with its first flower buds. if that isn’t the indication for warmer temperatures! let’s just hope that there won’t be another cold spell ;)

since it finally is the beginning of spring and this kind of a „anti valentine“, if i dare say so, i decided to go for a flowery, colourful combination with a slight punky undertone. as i said, anti. or at least in a metaphorical way.

ich trage eine schwarze ripped jeans, ein weißes hemd und darüber einen wunderschönen mesh-pulli. er ist über und über mit bunten blumen bestickt, die natürlich nur so nach farbkombinationen schreien. ich liebe solche teile, da man wirklich alles dazu kombinieren kann. man nehme nur eine farbe im muster und schon passt alles zusammen. ich entschied mich für eine süße tasche in gelb, meine hass-lieblings-farbe (oder sowas in der art). bei dem mantel griff ich zu einem hellen braun-mix, der farblich zurücktritt und den akzenten den vortritt lässt. genauso wie meine grau-silbernen boots. gleiche farbfamilie, gleiches prinzip.

i am wearing black ripped jeans, a white shirt and this beautiful mesh jumper. it is over and over covered with colourful embroidered flowers which are virtually screaming colour combination in your face. i love those kind of pieces because you really can combine everything with it. just pick one colour of the pattern and everything fits together. it’s that easy. i went for a small shoulder bag in the colour yellow, my least and most favorite one, i guess (or something like that). i picked a brown toned coat which naturally takes a backseat to let the accent colours go ahead. same principle with my greyish-brown boots.

am abend ging es dann noch zur urban summer fashion show im konen, wo uns die neue frühjahrskollektion vorgestellt wurde. ich fand die idee ganz interessant, da sie nicht klassisch eine modenschau veranstaltet haben, sondern bestimmten persönlichkeiten outfits bereitet haben, die dann am ende noch etwas darüber erzählt haben. jedoch muss ich sagen, dass mir eine klassische modenschau, wie wir sie beispielsweise bei unserer bachelor-fashion-show next.17 statements hatten, lieber gewesen wäre.

wie steht ihr zum valentinstag?

that night we went to the urban summer fashion show in konen where we got to see their new spring/summer collection. i thought it a nice idea to pick some celebrities to present their latest fashion trends and to hear their opinions on that but i guess i still prefer classic fashion shows as we did one for our graduation next.17 statements.
