wisst ihr was dies woche mit dem wetter los ist? das ist ja ein großartiger auftakt in den april, fast wie es im buche steht! kaum ist es offiziell frühling, gibt es wöchentlich wechselndes wetter.

ich bin trotz dieser verregneten woche jedenfalls schon total im frühlingsmodus und finde kaum ein teil in den schaufenstern, das ich nicht mag. ss17 ist total mein ding! und so nebenbei, was sagt ihr denn zu meiner frisur? ich dachte ich bringe mal etwas abwechsung rein und zeige euch meine naturlocken! ich selbst mag es irgendwie total gerne, obwohl ich immer nur glatte haare getragen habe, seit ich sie mir kurz schneiden ließ.

wie dem auch sei, für heute habe ich euch eine kombination herausgesucht, die zu meinen absoluten favorites gehört: pink und samt.

do you guys know what’s wrong with this week’s weather? what a great start, april. this is almost a textbook example! hardly two weeks have passed since it was spring officially and we’ve got already weekly changing weather.

despite this rainly week i am in total spring mood. i walk past all those shop windows and can hardly find a piece i don’t like. ss17 is my thing! and by the way, what do you think about my hairstyle? i thought i mix it up a little and show you my natural curls! somehow i really, really like it even though i've only worn straight hair ever since i shortened it.

anyways, for today i got you a combination which i count to one of my favorites: pink and velvet.

ICH WAR NIE DAS MÄDCHEN IN PINK - DAS HAT SICH WOHL GEÄNDERT

auf den geschmack von samt bin ich ungefähr vor einen jahr gekommen, als ich für meine neue kollektion KÖRPERGEFÜHLE magenta farbenen samt verwendet habe. durch seine eigene spiegelartige struktur wirkt er von ganz allein, ohne großartige details (das er sich schrecklich verarbeiten ließ und ständig unter der nähnadel verrutscht ist habe ich wohl verdrängt - props to you samt, du musst mir schon wirklich ans herz gewachsen sein).

I’VE NEVER BEEN THAT GIRL IN PINK - UNTIL NOW I GUESS

i think i acquired a taste for velvet almost a year ago when i was working on my fashion collection KÖRPERGEFÜHLE. i used magenta coloured velvet which i absolutely loved (i must have forgotten how awful it was to work with it, considering the amount of times it shifted under the sewing needle and caused me to redo the seam - props to you velvet, i must have fallen for you deeply).

dieses top ist dafür ein paradebeispiel: es funktioniert einfach so. die kleinen rüschen an den schultern machen es zusätzlich zur farbe und zum material zu etwas ganz besonderem, dem kein blick so wirklich widerstehen kann. wir fotografierten dieses outfit an der pinakothek der moderne, da könnt ihr euch ja vorstellen, das unser publikum schon etwas größer war (eine gute übung für mich, über meinen schatten zu springen und trotz leuten mein ding durchzuziehen).

this top is a paradigm: it works as a standalone. the small ruffles on the shoulders make it to something even more special than just the colour and material. nobody can resist it. we took the photos at the pinakothek of modern arts, you can imagine we had a little audience there (good exercise for me, though, to jump over my shadow and do my thing).

ALLROUNDER-LOOK

dazu trage ich einen leicht ausgestellten schwarzen rock in lederoptik mit vielen süßen blumenstickereien - diese frühligsreferenzen nehmen langsam überhand. das ganze setze ich in kontrast mit meinem geliebten und schon oft gesehenen gelben täschchen, um das pink-rosa-schweinchen-farbspektrum ein wenig zu brechen.

ALLROUNDER-LOOK

i wear a slightly flared skirt in leather opitic with some cute flower embroideries - i need to stop those spring references soon - before they get prevalent. i contrasted the outfit with my beloved and often seen yellow shoulder bag to break down this pink mix a little.

das gute ist, dieses outfit ist ein ziemlicher allrounder. es hat viele elemente von verschiedenen stilen, die durch ausgewählte accessoires verstärkt werden können. durch eine schwarze lederjacke mit spikes und patches wäre die kombination mit dem rock etwas rockiger. ein helles tuch und ein hut macht es schon fast strandurlaubstauglich. ich entschied mich aber für strumpfhose und sandalen, die mit der rosa sonnenbrille aus dem outfit einen stadtgerechten all-day-look machen.

ich freue mich auf viele photoshootings in den nächsten wochen - urlaubsvorbereitungen für mai laufen bereits.

this outfit is a allrounder. because there are a lot of elements from different styles mixed together, you can emphasize those by picking the right accessories. take a black studded leather jacket for example with some patches and stuff, the combination with the skirt gets almost rocky. or a light cape and a hat can make this look into a beach holiday dream. i chose some black tights and sandals with pink sunglasses to be ready to rock the city all day long.

i am very excited for lots of photoshoots the next weeks - holiday preparations for may are in full swing.
