auf meinem blog dreht sich viel um farbe, kontraste und kombinationen. ein ganz wichtiges thema dabei ist aber auch immer das material, das viel abwechsung in ein outfit bringen kann. das habe ich damals gemerkt, als ich vor ca. zwei jahren zum ersten mal so richtig eine kleine kollektion designen und natürlich auch alle stoffe selbstständig auswählen musste. eine ganz schöne herausforderung war das, die uns allen damals so plötzlich gestellt worden war. nach ein paar anläufen klappte das dann auch einigermaßen und man entwickelte schließlich ein gefühl für unterschiedliche und besondere stoffarten. auch wenn meine anfänge mehr als nur holprig gewesen waren, bereitet es mir heutzutage eine große freude, mein erlerntes wissen und meine erfahrungen in neue outfits umzusetzen.

my blog is all about colours, contrasts and combinations. a very important issue is also the material which gives your whole look a complete new appearance and a lot of variety. i learnt that for the first time about two years ago when i first had to design a real collection. it was a small one, but still. and of course we had to pick out our fabrics on our own challenging us on a whole new level. after a few attempts, it got better and better and eventually, you developed a sense for good combinations and special fabrics. even though my beginning had been quite a bumpy road, it gives me so much joy now to leave my knowledge and experience as a personal mark on different styles.
und weil ja nicht jeder tag automatisch laut kreischen muss „hier bin ich!“, habe ich für all diejenigen unter euch, die nicht ganz so knallig und farbenfroh unterwegs sein wollen (und für alle anderen auch) eine nude-kombination, die unauffällig, aber doch aufregend ist.
ich trage ein zweifarbiges plissée-oberteil, das vorne kürzer ist, als hinten. darunter eine asymmetrisch geschnittene stoffhose, die rüschen an der taille und an einem hosenbein hat. diese sind aus satin gefertigt und heben sich durch ihren glanz etwas von der restlichen hose ab. wir kombinieren im ganzen also bereits vier stoffe miteinander, die alle denselben ton haben und sich nur durch ihre oberflächenbeschaffenheit voneinander entscheiden: zweifacher chiffon, satin, jersey.
and because not every day needs to scream „here i am!“, i have this quiet nude look for everybody who likes to dress more inconspicuously (and for everybody else as well) but still search for new inspiring looks.
i wear a duo-coloured pleated top which is shorter in the front than in the back. as a bottom, i decided on nude asymmetrical trousers which have some cute ruffles on the waist and one on the leg hem. they are made out of a satin, giving them this special sheen and each their own unique look. we are actually combining four different fabrics already which all have the same colour and only differ through their surface finish: two chiffons, satin, jersey.
als schuhe wählte ich meine lacklederstiefel mit acryl-absatz, die natürlich wie gemacht für diesen look sind. als kleines highlight wählte ich eine cork-clutch. ein paar ringe, roter nagellack und dunkle lippen peppen das ganze outfit nochmal mehr auf.
ich verwende hier tatsächlich kein material zweimal, was bei einem nude-look vollkommen funktioniert: die farbe legt sich als großer rahmen um die stoffvielfalt und hält alles perfekt zusammen. würde man diese kombination mit farben tragen, gestaltete sich das ganze schon einmal viel schwieriger.

as for shoes, i picked nude boots with acrylic heels. they seem to be made for this specific look. as a small highlight, i got this amazing cork clutch, some rings and bright red nail polish, spicing up the whole look significantly.
in fact, every material in this look is only used once. that is totally okay with this nude look because the colour wraps around the diversity of materials and holds everything together perfectly. if you try this with different colours, though, it would be quite difficult.
