heute dreht sich alles um farbe!

farbkombinationen, farbschemata, farbkontraste. das öde schwarz ist schnee von gestern, genau so wie der winter. zumindest könnte es für meinen geschmack langsam wieder wärmer werden. so gern ich die kalte jahreszeit auch mag, reicht es mir mittlerweile, ein teil über das andere zu ziehen, dann noch eine jacke, schal und mütze. das ständige handschuhe an- und ausziehen, wenn man kurz mal was auf seinem smartphone nachschauen möchte. ich habe das zwiebelprinzip satt!

für dieses outfit habe ich mir die candy colours herausgesucht; also babyblau, rosa, hellgelb und co. das ganze habe ich mit einer gestreiften hose kontrastiert, die einen super gegenpol mit dem schwarz und kräftigen rot bietet.

today it’s all about colours!

colour combinations, colour schemes, colour contrasts. the dreary black is water under the bridge, as is winter. at least it could get a bit warmer for my taste. i mean, i love the cold season but i’m a bit tired of it by now. putting on clothing after clothing, then your jacket, scarf and hat. constantly switching between gloves and no gloves for one quick glimpse on your smartphone. i’m sick of the onion layer principle!

for this outfit i chose candy colours; thus baby blue, pink, light yellow and so on. i contrasted the whole outfit with this lovely striped pair of trousers in black and rich red which works perfectly as a antithesis.

das hört sich alles nach einem ganz schönen mischmasch an, doch farben wirken wahrhaftige wunder. und man kann sie besser miteinander kombinieren, als man meinen möchte. dadurch, dass die candy colours einem farbschema entspringen, ist es leicht dazu unterschiedliche farben zu kombinieren, weil sie nicht wirklich als „einzelne farben“ zählen, wenn ihr wisst, was ich meine. es gibt die regel, dass man maximal drei farben miteinander kombinieren soll; ich sage, dass ist blödsinn. solange man pastelltöne und kräftige farben in einem ausgewogenen verhältnis mischt, ist man sicherlich nicht an der falschen adresse. das ganze kann man dann noch super mit einer neutralen farbe wie schwarz oder weiß aufpeppen, indem man accessoires in diesen tönen wählt - und voilà! das perfekte, ausgewogene und doch farbenfrohe outfit, dass man sicherlich kein zweites mal auf der straße findet.

this all sounds very much like hotchpotch i can imagine but colours are truly wonderful. and easier to combinate as you might think. because the candy colours i used are all in the same colour scheme, it’s not that hard to mix it with other, richer colours. they don’t really count as „individual colours“, if you know what i mean. there is this rule which says you can only wear three colours at the most; i say that’s nonsense. as long as you have the right balance between pastel tones and richer colours there is nothing that can go wrong. the whole can then be spiced up with accessories in neutral colours such as black or white - and voilà! the perfect, balanced and yet colourful outfit you probably wouldn’t find twice on the streets.

wichtig für so eine farbenvielfalt ist sicherlich auch die richtige platzierung der farbe. ich habe mich zum beispiel auf den oberkörper konzentriert, den ich mit meinem hellgelben pulli und der wunderschönen babyblauen fake-lederjacke in den vordergrund bringe. dazu noch schwarze accessoires und einen süßen kleinen einhorn-rucksack, in den ich mich hals über kopf verliebt habe.

jetzt bleibt nur noch die frage offen: wo sind meine süßigkeiten geblieben?

important for such a variety of colours is the right placement. i concentrated my pastels on the upper part of the body which is therefore moved into the foreground through the light yellow jumper and baby blue fake leather jacket. i just added some black accessories and this sweet unicorn backpack which i fell in love with head over heels.

now there’s just one question left to ask: where is my candy?
