das neue jahr beginnt und so auch die zeit der fashioin weeks. schon in wenigen wochen macht new york den anfang, dicht gefolgt von london, milan und paris. gezeigt werden die neuen herbst/winter kollektionen der nächsten saison. recht passend, da jeder gerade den heißesten trends in dieser kalten jahreszeit hinterher rennt. auch hier in münchen sieht man so einige leute, die aus der menge herausstechen. mal ist es eine schicke tasche, mal ein besonderer schal. doch was wirklich beeindruckt sind statement coats. und diesen winter sind es gerade unsere tollen mäntel, die das eis des mainstream brechen. ob es nun (faux) fur coats, gemusterte, knallige oder einfach nur schnitttechnisch einzigartige mäntel sind, ganz egal, hauptsach auffällig.

the new year is here and so are the fashion weeks. only a few weeks left and the new trends for the next autumn/winter season will be presented. with new york as the start, london follows shortly after, then milan and finally paris. quite suiting since everybody is now searching for the newest trends in this cold season. there are of course a few people here in munich who try their best and stick out of the crowd. maybe it's your new special purse or your hat, maybe just your scarf. but what really attracts the attention of everybody are statement coats. take your (faux) fur or a specially patterned coat, a loudly coloured jacket or something really excitingly cut, everything works. everything striking will do.
dieser winter hat uns alle sehr überrascht, als plötzlich zum neujahr ganz münchen in einen weißen mantel getaucht wurde und die natur ihm so ein ganz eigenes statement gesetzt hat. mal zur abwechslung, könnte man fast schon sagen. doch genau das ist es, was der natur die farbe raubt, weswegen es umso wichtiger ist, sie wieder zurückzubringen. dafür habe ich mir meinen wunderschönen himmelblauen mantel geschnappt und meinen kleinen beitrag geleistet. ein doch lässiger look, trotz des schicken mantels. erreicht durch die kombination mit der angesagten boyfriend-jeans, einem grauen pullover mit rüschen detail und einem hellrosa farbenen, gemusterten schal. dazu noch streetstyle boots mit blümchen print - passend zum schal - und eine schwarze tasche.
this winter has surprised us in many ways already. when munich had been covered in a white coat shortly after new year's and nature had its own striking statement for example. in a way you could probably say 'finally'. but that's exactly what robs nature of its beauty and why we have to make our own contribution through fashion. a casual look, although the coat is rather formal. achieved through a combination of these popular boyfriend-jeans, a ruffled grey jumper and a big pinkly patterned scarf. some streetstyle boots with a flower print - matching the colour of the scarf - a black shoulder bag and off you go.
ganz so einfach war es aber für mich in den letzten tagen nicht, denn ich bin frisch aus meiner großen kolloquium-blase erwacht. letzten dienstag hatte ich mein examen und konnte damit vorerst all meine sorgen beiseite schieben. natürlich wurde das auch ordentlich gefeiert ;) jetzt heißt es aber next.17, unsere modenschau, organisieren! und das könnte vielleicht ähnlich anstrengend werden, wie die letzten wochen. der kartenvorverkauf startet bald, es würde mich freuen, einige von euch dort zu sehen! den 4. februar kann sich ja jeder schon mal in den kalender eintragen.
not that easy had been the last couple of days for me since i have just finished my oral exams a week ago. last tuesday i had the last test which led to a complete drop of all my sorrows. if only for a few days because now we need to organise next.17, our very own fashion show. and i dare say it may get as exhausting as the last past months. the advance sale of tickets should start now and i would be so happy to see some of you guys there. you can already mark 4th february in your calender ;)
doch bis dahin werde ich versuchen noch einige posts hochzuladen. schließlich muss ich das ausnutzen, endlich zeit zu haben.
ich wünsche euch allen noch einen guten start in die woche. erfriert mir nicht, bei den temperaturen!
ach ja, ich habe es bereits auf diversen social media posts erwähnt, aber ich habe alle meine usernamen in @thisiskachi umgeändert. das sollte alles etwas leichter und einheitlicher machen :)
