sometimes there are days where i just can't find anything to wear. i hate all the outfits i pull out, up to five, six or even seven of them. i always find something i don't like about it. in the end my room looks like a pile of rubbish and i still haven't found anything to wear. it's always the same clothes that lie around. same shape, same colours. simply what is en vogue right now. but doesn't everybody have this corner in their wardrobe that never gets pulled out? with all the old stuff nobody cares about anymore? let me tell you, i sure have. i sorted it out some time ago and now it is still in my room but in a different storing location.
i remembered i have this white pair of jeans with different patches and sections. i don't wear it anymore because i think it shapes your legs kind of weird 'cause it's not made out of one piece of fabric. originally i planned to put on a dark grey, long shirt which obviously didn't work out. so i searched for something similar to go with the white jeans. i came across this silver jumper i totally forgot about. i thought i'd found my solution. i put it on and was like: "this looks totally boring and stupid." well, well. for some reason i left the jumper on. maybe because it was silver and sparkly. i guess that was when this idea formed in my head. aren't we all creative minds who just want to have some fun?
i guess this is where the diy part begins. i went to grab my scissors and cut of the non-stretchy neckline to create an off-shoulder top. i took some light pink fabric and cut off double the length of the new neckline circumference i measured when i had it on. i ruffled it by sewing twice across and pulling both of the bobbin threads until i had the desired length. all that was left to do was to sew the two pieces together. i went and cut both side seams to create two long vents on both sides and shortened the front a bit.
to remain in my colour scheme i put on my new heels i fell in love with the moment i put them on in the store. they are real leather shoes and so comfy. i also have this nude coloured purse and my silver key necklace.
next time you sort out your wardrobe always think about the cool things you could do. and don't be shy to try it out yourself because it's fine if something goes wrong.

es gibt tage, an denen finde ich einfach nichts passendes zum anziehen. ich finde alles, was ich anprobiere einfach nur furchtbar. i ziehe bis zu fünf, sechs, sieben outfits aus meinem schrank, doch nichts passt. ich finde immer etwas, was mich daran stört. am ende schaut mein zimmer aus wie ein schlachtfeld und ich habe immer noch nichts zum anziehen. jedoch sind es immer die gleichen klamotten, die herumliegen. gleiche form, gleiche farbe. eben gerade das, was momentan modern ist. hat aber nicht jeder diese kleine ecke im schrank, die nicht mehr beachtet wird? mit all den alten, aussortierten sachen? glaubt mir, ich hab so eine ecke. schon vor einiger zeit habe ich die klamotten aussortiert. jetzt liegen sie zwar nicht mehr in meinem schrank, aber immer noch in meinem zimmer, getrennt von den teilen, die ich noch trage.
ich erinnerte mich an eine weiße jeans, die ich noch besaß. sie hatte verschiedene nähte und bestand aus vielen einzelnen schnittteilen. ich trage sie jetzt nicht mehr, weil ich finde, dass sie die beine komisch aussehen lässt. ursprünglich habe ich geplant sie mit einem langen, dunkelgrauen t-shirt zu kombinieren. das hat ja offensichtlich nicht so gut geklappt. also suchte ich nach etwas ähnlichem in meiner ausrangierten box und stolperte über diesen silbernen pullover, den ich schon total vergessen hatte. endlich hatte ich meine lösung gefunden, dachte ich. ich zog ihn an, blickte in den spiegel und dachte nur: "das sieht total langweilig und dumm aus." nun gut. trotzdem ließ ich den pullover an. warum auch immer. vielleicht weil er so silbern und glitzernd war. das war wohl der punkt, als ich die idee für dieses outfit hatte. sind wir nicht alle kreative köpfe, die etwas spaß haben wollen?
jetzt beginnt wohl der diy teil des ganzen. ich holte meine schere und schnitt kurzerhand den nicht-dehnbaren ausschnitt ab, um ein schulterfreies oberteil zu kreieren. nun schnitt ich den doppelten umfang des neuen ausschnitts von einem hellrosa stoff ab (gemessen, wenn ich den pulli anhatte). um die rüschen zu formen, näht man zwei mal ohne zu vernähen und mit großem stich die kante entlang. so kann man vorsichtig an beiden unterfäden ziehen um zu rüschen. alles, was jetzt noch übrig blieb, ist beide teile zusammen zu nähen. ich habe zusätzlich noch die seitennaht für zwei große schlitze aufgetrennt und den vorderen saum etwas gekürzt.
um in meinem farbschema zu bleiben, kombiniere ich das outfit mit meinen neuen pumps, in die ich mich schon im laden beim anprobieren verliebt habe. dazu trage ich noch eine nude farbene tasche und eine silberene kette mit schlüsselanhänger.
das nächste mal, wenn du deinen kleiderschrank aussortierst, denke immer dran, was für coole sachen, du mit all den alten klamotten machen könntest. und halte dich bloß nicht zurück, schließlich ist es egal, wenn etwas schief geht.
