21 + birthday outfit

[english]

and yet another year older. time flies by so fast - i just did my a-levels, got a university place and now i have my last term before i get my degree. only three years later. it seems the time flashed past as if nothing happened. it's already the beginning of september, autumn knocks on the door to replace summer, soon winter will be here. in december i am practically done. this is in only three months time. i actually don't know how i feel about that.

but, let's just not think about the future. we live in the here and now, isn't that right? this friday, 2nd of september, it was my 21th birthday. i never really was a big party animal so i just invited a few friends over to spent a quiet evening. with card games and fun stories. i hadn't been sure the week before, what to do on my birthday. but one day i just had a brainwave - we would make sushi ourselves. no sooner said than done. we went grocery sopping spontaneously to collect all the things we needed [scroll down to see my grocery list] (in our family we did sushi a few times and it was delicious every time). most of my guests didn't know how to make sushi or how to use a bambus mat (let's just not talk about the nori leaves). but they did a really good job after a few tries.

after a delicious, healthy dinner it was time to unpack the card games: cards of humanity and other games. again time flew by like it was nothing because suddenly it was night time and we played sing star in front of the tv. i don't know how this happened.

i was quiet happy with my outfit combination which was perfect for the warm day temperatures and the cold night. i was wearing a nice black jumpsuit where i cut of the trousers legs without further ado [you can see the long version here] and my selfmade KACHI jumper i designed and made earlier this year.

what did you do for your last birthday?

enjoy the last summer days :)

love, kat ♥
