2 thousand and 80s

a few days ago i got to know the wonderful girls from m.a.p.h.i.a berlin, who design and create in their atelier in lichtenberg, berlin. they were so kind to send me some of their designs which i would like to show you today.

i wear an original top out of cotton batiste which gets its characteristics from the triangle-shaped cut out at the neckline. it's perfect for spring and the fashion trend right now: a cute, wide, casual crop top with that certain something you definitely don't see everywhere on the streets. to the elegant white i combine another m.a.p.h.i.a piece: the orange and golden necklace where a silk band is pulled through. that's where we get our spring colour from which matches the last m.a.p.h.i.a item at the same time: the scarf. i've taken the liberty of alienating it, so now it decorates my head and does a pretty good job.

i am thrilled about this top. it's really comfy and doesn't crease even after wearing it a few times. you can alternate the length of the necklace by knotting the ends together, which is pretty cool. and do i have to say anything about the scarf? you can see for yourself that there are multiple ways of wearing it ;)

i combine original 80s peg top trousers - thanks mum - which are perfect for the length of the top. you can see my champagne rip socks just sneaking out under the seam and my new plateau boots. don't forget your sunglasses and your mac coat to begin this wonderful day!

vor einigen tagen durfte ich die lieben mädels von m.a.p.h.i.a berlin kennen lernen, die in ihrem atelier in lichtenberg selbst designen und fertigen. sie waren so freundlich und haben mir einige ihrer tollen designs zukommen lassen, die ich euch im heutigen post vorstellen möchte.

ich trage ein originelles oberteil aus baumwollbatist, das durch das dreieckige cut-out am dekolleté zu etwas ganz besonderem wird. es ist perfekt für den frühling und den modischen trend derzeit: ein süßes, weites, lässiges crop top mit dem gewissen etwas, dass man gewiss nicht an jeder straßenecke findet. zum eleganten weiß kombiniere ich ein weiteres m.a.p.h.i.a-teil, nämlich die orange-goldene gliederkette, die mit einem seidenband durchzogen ist. sie fügt dem outfit die frühlingsfarbe hinzu und passt gleichzeitig zum dritten und letzten design der m.a.p.h.i.a mädels: der schal. ich war so frei, ihn ein wenig zweck zu entfremden. nun schmückt er also meinen kopf und macht sich als haarband ausgesprochen gut!

ich bin begeistert vom oberteil, es ist super bequem und hat auch nach dem zweiten mal tragen kaum eine falte. die kette lässt sich zusammen knoten, weshalb die länge individuell verstellbar ist. und beim schal seht ihr ja selbst, dass es nicht nur eine möglichkeit gibt, ihn zu tragen ;)

dazu kombiniere ich eine original karottenhose direkt aus den 80ern - mama sei dank - die durch ihre hohe taille perfekt die länge des tops ausgleicht. sie ist knöchellang und lässt somit die champagnerfarbenen rips-söckchen hervorblitzen, die in meinen neuen plateauschuhen stecken. nur nicht meine sonnenbrille und meinen trenchcoat vergessen und schon kann der tag kommen!
